got Jesus?

God is perfect, so perfect in fact that He never has a wrong thought or does a wrong thing. The bible tells us He is light and there is no darkness in Him. That’s quite a standard to meet and none of us meet it. We do wrong, everyone of us, no exceptions and that is sin. Even worse is the fact that our sin sentences us to death.

Here’s the but…

It says this in the bible

For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life

John 3:16

God, our Father in heaven, has made a way for us to avoid the death penalty. He sent His Son Jesus to the earth in the form of a man to live a sinless life and then take our place at the point of execution, the cross.

This is the measure of His love for you, He took the hard way and paid the price for our sin Himself so that He didn’t have to compromise His standards and didn’t lose us. A free gift of life for those who will choose to receive it. As it says in the bible;

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

John 1:12-13

And again in the bible it says …

” if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

So when you die and stand before God He will have one question for you, ‘Got Jesus?’

Will you receive Jesus now? You have a choice to make. Walk away and forget about this –

OR

Call on Jesus. He is near you, He will hear you. Reach out to Him. Tell Him you want change in your life. Tell Him you are sorry for your sin and ask Him to give you His righteousness and take your sin.

Then walk with Him, talk to Him every day. Get a bible and read His word to you.
